Who Is Our God?

"For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted". Heb. 2:16-18

Praise the Lord we have such a high priest, Jesus Christ the righteous! He is much acquainted with our temptations and weaknesses, yet without sin, and now intercedes for us day and night. What an awesome God we serve!

Let us not simply stand on the fringes but come boldly by the blood of Jesus into the very throne room of God that we may receive mercy and grace in time of need. Come today and enter his courts with praise, give thanks unto our great and mighty Saviour!

Jim,

I just want to say that I feel very much at home when I read your input or your comments on blogs.

For some reason I know can always count on you to say the things that I would want to say myself (but do not).

May I ask you what church do you belong to?

Consecrated, I appreciate your encouraging words.

I have purposely not mentioned which denomination I am involved in simply because I don't want names to obscure my posts.

However, since you asked I would say I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ. ha ha! (not quite quite the answer you we're looking for)

Ok, actually I attend a Baptist church affiliated with the BGC. I have no problem fellowshipping with any believer who is serious about pursuing Christ.

God bless,
Jim

I have no inhibitions either. I truly believe that there are saved people in every denomination, but sometimes you click more with people with whom you tend to agree.

What is BGC?

Baptist General Conference. This blog has not been working well today?
