I read an interesting article here about one state's battle against abortion. Too often we believe the media reports that the majority of Americans support pro-choice. And why is it that the Catholics are some of the most ardent opponents? Where are the evangelicals?
Drop me a line with your thoughts...

Jim,
I hadn't heard this, very interesting!!
GODBLESS,

I think Christians should oppose abortion.
I do respect those Christians who consistently believe in abstinence from politics, however.
God Bless

Matthew, what's far more important than whether or not we are actively engaged in politics is; are we praying for our leaders?
That is a non-optional requirement for all believers of which I myself am guilty of much neglect.
Salt does no good inside the salt shaker, amen!

Very true.
The Catholics and evangelicals support life because we have a strong moral foundation that values life.
Moral relativism doesn't protect anything.
My point was that while evangelicals work hard to protect doctrine, it seems we have failed in the more practical aspects of daily life in our society.
