2008 Hype!!

Well, it seems that the rhetoric and name calling has started for the 08' presidential nominations.

If you could pick any person of solid character and principle to be the next president, who would you pick?

Is there someone?

JD, wise choice. ~;)

Joe, there must be in a nation of 300 million a few men who are prepared to take leadership?

I pick Rush Limbaugh

Hey Antonio, long time no talk. While he definitely has the conservative talk, I think he probably wouldn't have the moral fortitude it takes.

God bless,
Jim

Stop the presses. I agree with Antonio... Rush is the man. It is a plus that he likes cats.

Hey Jazzy, I think it is a miracle just that I find you agreeing with Antonio. :)

Seriously though, is Rush actually a man of principle or simply a talking head?

Well, I do think Rush has sincere conservative beliefs. He is not really a politician so it is a mute point. All those D's except Richardson of N.M. scare me real bad. I try not to think about it.

I love the blog that you have. I was wondering if you would link my blog to yours and in return I would do the same for your blog. If you want to, my site name is American Legends and the URL is:

www.americanlegends.blogspot.com

If you want to do this just go to my blog and in one of the comments just write your blog name and the URL and I will add it to my site.

Thanks,
David

Alan Keyes or Al Mohler

Maybe Mike Huckabee. (See world Mag, never heard of him before).

Yeah, I was reading a bit about Mike Huckabee as well. He is definitely pro-life and socially conservative.

Rush Limbaugh.

Oh, I just noticed that Antonio and Jazzy agree with me on that. Rush is a calming voice of reason ...

But, I don't know ... maybe he wouldn't make a great prez.
I also used to like JC Watts, but you don't hear a lot about him anymore.

In a way, I would love to see a non-political person become president. Someone who hasn't greased all the wheels on the way up and who has some fresh and honest approaches to governance.

"any person of solid character and principle"

I can't think of anyone in politics.
